Chapter 13. I Like Your Smell
Leah’s POV
His tone was ripe. Each chuckle he had in my ear, it was like music, and this was the first time I saw him laugh.
I had never seen him laugh before and seeing him in this state made my heart race.
My face was flushed with heat, and a butterfly danced in my stomach.
I glanced away from him, not wanting him to see my blushed face. I want to cleanse my face because of all the awful flames around it. I seemed to be delighted as well, as a smile threatened to come out of my lips just because I watched him laugh, showing his dimples.
My two hands smacked my cheeks, reminding me that this guy belittled me! My other brain immediately responds to whatever my other brain says and rejects anything I say. I must keep in mind that I must conceal all my emotions towards Amoux.
