Leah’s POV“This isn’t funny, Almera!” Karen growled; her veins were popping on her head and neck. She glared at Almera, who was prepared to attack her.

“Karen, I want to ask where did you go when Almera and Kairo were fucking each other? You seem busy, to make me not see your presence even a little bit.” Karen’s face flushed; she avoided her gaze at me, then cleared her throat.

“I’m not a traitor here, okay? I was busy with someone— You know, like hanging out with a man?”

“Do you have someone who can prove your statement? I do not doubt you, but I want to make sure. Karen, you seem preoccupied, and I checked the file in the pack; you aren’t even there.” Karen coughed, they pointed out her neck, but her ear reddened.
