Leah’s POV“Alpha Brandon,” My voice broke when I called his name. We didn’t know each other for so long, but Alpha Brandon’s words touched my heart. I paused when he gently rubbed his finger on my eyes; he chuckled like something funny was coming out of his mind.

“I feel worried about you that I forgot to bring my handkerchief; if I know that you will cry in front of me, I will get it before I go here to visit you.” I glared at him when he started laughing at himself. He even twitched his mouth like he was stopping himself from smiling.

“Seriously, you’re the most beautiful woman I saw while crying. Will you please continue crying? It’s fascinating.” I quickly grabbed the book and then smacked it on his head. Alpha Brandon groaned and acted like he was deeply hurt by what I did to him. The corner of his mouth twitched then he avoided his gaze on me.

“You, Jerk!” I was about to smack him again, but he stopped me when he caught my hand. I was shocked when he slowly m
