Chapter 136. The Cafe

I walked out of the room and left the orb there. After my encounter with the Moon goddess and my mom, I felt a bit better. The force that had been drawing me to the room had now faded. I mean, it was still there, but it was less powerful than before. 

I think it was because I had done what I was supposed to do. So now, I had one more thing on my agenda before calling it a day. 

When I stepped out of the place, I saw that daylight had already gone. It was now night. Gosh, I’m sure that Maddie had been waiting for me for a while now. Or maybe she had gotten tired of doing that and had left. 

I found a car and drove over to the restaurant. There were a few of them in the town, but the famous way of transport here was either walking or by taking horses. Like actually sitting on a horse back or riding a carriage. 

That was cute and all, but not really my style. So yeah, I had driven a Benz to come over at the cafe. Sorry, I think I said restaurant at
