It had been five days, ten hours, and eight minutes since Andrew Blake hadn’t called. Was I pissed? Annoyed? Mad as hell? No. I couldn’t be mad at him. There was no reason to. We weren’t dating, even though he owed me a date, and he never explicitly said he liked me, aside from his usual flirting. Moreover, a cheesy goodnight text didn’t mean anything, right?
So, of course, I wasn’t mad. Except that I was livid. He waltzed into my life whenever he felt like it and disappeared as if it meant nothing, leaving me confused as hell because I didn’t know what we were doing.
