ANIKA'S POV:

"How do you know where they are, my little warrior?" Alpha Thomas asked me in a worried tone. I gulped hard as I heard a low growl that escaped Adam's lips.

"Kyle offered me to go with him. I refused and tried to convince him not to go. I knew that rogues are active nowadays. But he did not listen to me. He went away eventually. The guards do not know anything about it. They are using a secret way out of the territory. I know where they went. Please let me help so I can right what I did wrong." I replied and earned another growl from Adam. I heard his angry footsteps coming towards me. I gulped hard as I knew I was in trouble.

He grabbed me by my shoulders and pulled me up aggressively. I gasped loudly as his nails and his firm hold were starting to hurt me. I was shocked as Adam had never done anything to hurt me. "So you knew about it all along but did not tell any of us. How could you be so stupid?" He yelled at me and I jumped in fear. Tears blurre
