ANIKA'S POV:

After shifting into Skylar's room, I locked myself in. For the world, it was to set my room. But in reality, I was sitting in the shower, crying my heart out. It was painful to see her taking the only thing I ever had. It was not the room and not even my belongings. It was Adam. One thing happened to me that day, it was a blessing as I thought. The south side borders that Kyle and others used as an easy way of escaping, former Alpha Thomas asked to make a boundary wall there. And as it was the day of the wedding of the new Alpha, no one wanted to supervise the work. Danny told me about the trouble and I went straight to former Alpha Thomas.

I asked him to allow me to supervise the work. He did not say anything. He did not ask me any questions. He permitted me to go and supervise the work. I was thankful that he did not ask me anything.
