Chapter 101. Aiden's Sacrifice

“Hello, Madam," said Evelyn, approaching Catherin, who was in the back yard reading a book.

"I still remember having a friend. It's been a long time since I came," exclaimed Catherine.

"Ciee, someone missed me," chuckled Evelyn, taking a seat in the garden chair near Catherin.

"Where have you been all this time? It's unusual for you to disappear for so long."

"I'm giving you time to be close to Aiden," he chuckled, making Catherine look at him. "So how is your relationship progressing?"

Catherine looked forward again as she closed the book in her hand.

"He's being a little strange! exclaimed Catherine.

"Strange how?" Evelyn asked very curiously.

"He became a little flirty and very sweet; I don't know what happened to him. I don't know."

Evelyn suddenly laughed when she heard Catherin's exclamation. "That's him trying to be accepted by you again. Come on, Cath, what are you waiting for? He's already said that he loves y
