Chapter 102. Already Numb
Catherine held Aiden's wrist as he was about to leave. Aiden turned to look at her, who was sitting in a wheelchair and holding her hand.
"I love you, Aiden; don't leave me again," cried Catherin.
Aiden seemed to smile brightly when he heard that.
"I love you too, Catherine."
Catherine opened her eyes, and all she saw was a room with minimal lighting. It turns out it was just a dream.
Catherine was about to withdraw her hand, but it was difficult. He then looked away from where his hand was being held by someone. No, more like holding someone's hand. Aiden was seen sitting on the side of the bed, watching her.
"You-?"
"Am I bothering you? Aiden asked.
"N-no, you're here?" she asked.
"Yes, you held my hand; I couldn't leave because I was afraid of disturbing you," said Aiden.
Catherine felt embarrassed because she was still holding Aiden's hand. He let go of his hand.
"Go to sleep; I'll go home," said Aiden, getting up
