Chapter 17. Incident Five Years Ago

"Why did you come?" Davero asked, not taking his eyes off the file in his hand.

"I've been waiting for you since this afternoon, and you even said that?" complained Natalie while pursing her lips before sitting down on the sofa.

"I am busy. You better go home," said Davero, still in a flat and cold tone.

"Honey, I'm coming back to Indonesia for you. You should appreciate that and be nicer to me." Natalie crossed her long legs.

"I didn't ask you to come back," said Davero, still cold.

Natalie snorted. He immediately got up from his seat and walked towards Davero. His hand rubbed Davero's shoulder and massaged it gently, then whispered softly right in Davero's ear, even kissing his earlobe without hesitation. "I miss you, dear."

"I'm busy, Natalie."

"Tonight, at my apartment," Natelie gestured.

"No."

"Honey!" whined Natalie, who immediately sat on his lap, wrapping her arms around Davero's neck in a spoiled manner.
