Chapter 16. DNA Results

Davero was focused on his cellphone until the elevator door opened. He got out of the elevator without paying attention to the road, then collided with a woman. He grabbed the woman's waist until their bodies were pressed against each other, and the hand of the woman he hit seemed to reflexively grip Davero's chest jacket. Their gazes met for a moment without blinking.

"Agnet, are you all right?"

The question sobered both of them, and they looked away. Davero let go of his grip and looked around, where several employees were watching the two of them.
