Chapter 30. Agneta's Worries
After saying everything, Dave walked away, leaving the two of them without a word.
Aiden immediately gripped his shoulders very tightly, and disappointment appeared in Aiden's eyes. "Tell me that all is not true?" he asked emphatically.
"I'm sorry, Aiden." Agneta couldn't help but sigh.
"Why didn't you say from the start that that bastard was my own cousin?" He screamed, shaking Agneta's shoulder.
"Can I say that? I can't, Aiden. You will not believe me and will say that I accused him. Moreover, I really don't want to bring it up and create dissension between you."
"But why him?" muttered Aiden, pulling his hair back. "So he's been bothering you all this time, and you're hiding it from me?"
"Aiden-"
"Say Agnes?" asked Aiden emphatically.
