Chapter 32. Davero's Worries

Agneta walked in the office hallway with a blank look, her mind still drifting, thinking about her son Regan. Even his work was left unattended without him being able to do it properly because his concentration was only focused on Regan.

Not far in front of him, Dave had just left the meeting room with several high-ranking people as well as his secretary. Dave stopped in his tracks as he met eyes with Agneta in front of him. Dave was able to see Agneta's blank stare and deep sadness.

After they stared at each other for a long time, Agneta turned towards another hallway to hand over a document to one of the staff there. Dave asked everyone to go first, and he walked with big steps, following Agneta. From a distance, Agneta's steps wobbled slightly; she even held on to the wall by her side until her body collapsed to the floor.
