Chapter 101. More Than Enough
If only one could see the future, if only there was a way to know how a single choice would end before it was made. If someone, anyone, had warned Calla that she would be exposed without being able to tell Rico herself, maybe she would have gone to him first.

Calla’s eyes followed Rico as he unfastened the belt and stepped away, straightening his jacket like nothing had happened, like he hadn’t just reduced her to nothing with a few words.
His face was calm yet cold, already moving past her, already thinking ten steps ahead. Men like Rico didn’t lose control for no reason. When they went quiet, it meant they had decided exactly how someone would pay.
