Chapter 121. Grand Dining Table

Calla groaned in annoyance, stirring in bed and feeling reluctant to get up. The heavy banging on the door wouldn't stop, completely waking her from her sleep.

She didn't move to let the person in, wishing whoever it was would give up and leave her be.

But she was wrong. The knocking persisted, growing heavier with each second. She whined and sat up, rubbing her eyes to clear off the drowsiness that still lingered.

Last night was a hot mess. Rico had asked her to move to the guest room, and arguing with him was of no use.
