Breakfast continued with Calla's head lowered to her plate, taking small bites of her food. Sofia talked about how bored she'd been these days. How she'd started hallucinating, and was excited that Calla came. Donna Marta quietly listened to her daughter's story, a small smile that reached her wrinkled eyes.

Whereas Rico, it was as though he wasn't at the table with them. He was utterly quiet, his back straight as he calmly chewed his food. But his aura was heavenly present in the room.
