Chapter 21. The Stranger
Forty minutes later, Calla and Luxe were already in a rented taxi, and on their way to Lust & Lace.
Cherry and her friend, Flora, had successfully distracted the two guards. Cherry pretended her car had broken down and needed help to fix it.
Calla watched from the window in awe as Cherry looked so convincing that they couldn’t say no.
“How long ‘fore they notice you is gone?” Luxe asked, and both of them looked back from the moving cab.
Calla shrugged. “I don’t know,” she said. “Ten minutes. Twenty? Bruno rarely checks up.”
“Any which way, I don’t fucking care. We is about to partyyyyyyy!” She exclaimed in the cab. Calla laughed and shook her head.
One problem was solved, now she needs to pray it’s the same bouncer at Lust & Lace from last time. If not, it’s it for them.
