It seemed as if I had brought all of my hatred with me when I left the house. Okay, I need to clear my mind. I made the decision to use the cash I had earned by working a few part-time jobs to go shopping. There is nothing wrong with spending money sometimes, as long as you work hard for it then you deserve it.

“I am home…”

The mall walk has become so tiresome for me. I also purchased quite a few items, including clothing and other necessities.

“Hon, you are back! Are you hungry? We will just wait for it to boil and then dinner will be served.”

What makes him seem so happy to see me? He didn’t seem to be offended by what I did or said to him earlier. What is wrong with this guy?

I didn’t answer his questions and just kept on walking to get closer to him. I set down the paper bags I was holding and slowly walked toward him. Why is his voice so pleasing to hear? Did I find this man charming? Or maybe his voice just puzzles me?
