It’s hard to maintain my focus on the girls as they run up and down the house. I’ve tried to get them to watch TV, but they become restless and begin their noisy marathon again. My morning sickness has subsided and in it’s place is an insatiable hunger. Adam still hasn’t guessed I’m pregnant yet, but he has his suspicions.I’ve been out of the hospital since the girls were born and Adam offered to employ a nanny for them, but I refused. I can never be too busy to take care of my girls and he respects that.A crash from the playroom accompanied by a sharp yelp has me rushing to check it out. Daisy is sprawled on the floor and the box of legos was on the ground with the bricks littered everywhere. Roselyn looks up at me and bursts into fits of giggles while her sister begins to sniff. I move over to her and pick her up.“How did this happen?”“I fall mommy.” She says with a soft sniff and tears line up her eyelids.
