Adam walks in just as I'm about to reply aunt Hannah. His eyes are red and tired but he brightens up once his eyes fall on me. I run into his arms and he exhales in comfort as I relax into him.

"Hey my love." He coos and I pull him in for a kiss. Everything disappears and it's just both of us...then aunt Hannah clears her throat.

"Ahem! Get a room guys! Jeez, the audacity!" I pull away from him, feeling a little embarrassed.

"The advantages of a life partner. You should get yourself one so you know how it feels." Adam says calmly and I turn to glare at him.

Aunt Hannah places her hand on her chest in mock offense but I can see through her. Adam's words hurt her and she was trying to play it off.

"Adam! That was mean. I won't have you talking to my aunt like that and I don't care if you're in a bad mood or not. Apologize." I scold him and he smirks at aunt Hannah.<
