After Crystal's house, I don't go straight home. Instead, I head to a club downtown. Adam's words has more effect on me than I thought and though I know he didn't mean it in an offensive manner, it still pierces my heart.
I need a drink and loud music to get it out of my head. I've never really thought about how far my relationship with Alex would go. I mean, he is life partner material but...there are a lot of factors that can affect the overall turn out of our relationship.
The club, 'Arcade' is crowded and the bouncers are having a hard time keeping people out. The music booms loud from the inside and all the clubers are masked.
So it's a masked theme today? Perfect.
I buy a mask from a vendor near the club that leaves only my mouth and eyes exposed and walk towards the entrance. The bouncers are too busy with the club that they don't even notice me slip in.
