I didn't think I'd feel the absence of aunt Hannah, but one hour later, just after she left, I'm already missing her. The girls are up and about, but I haven't broken the news to them yet.

Although, one of the things that contribute to the way I feel about it is the fact that I know she won't be around for a while. The distance between Virginia and New York is just an hour's plane ride away, but I guess I just felt too comfortable with her here.

I feel really bad that her relationship went the way it did, but if she decides to give up, I won't. I'm going to fight for that relationship. I'm going to give it all that I've got. The same thing happened between Adam and I before we got married and I denied myself the pleasure of being happy for a month.
