"Yon! Where are you?!" Reynard shouted the moment Arion answered the call.
"What's up?"
"That plastic bag is causing trouble at the office, looking for you! She's pacing around like a madwoman! Want me to handle this wannabe?" Reynard grumbled.
Arion smirked. "Ignore her," he replied calmly.
"Okay, but why aren't you at the office yet?" Reynard asked, noticing it was already 9 a.m.
"I'll be in later. I have some things to take care of outside," Arion replied, just as Emily began to rise. Arion quickly pulled her back, making her fall into his lap, surprising her.
"Okay, I'll handle things here," Reynard responded.
"Alright," Arion said, ending the call and turning his attention back to Emily.
