Chapter 279. It Won’t Be Easy
Cecilia had been in her father Kenan’s office for about an hour. “Do you need anything else, darling?” Kenan asked gently.
Cecilia cleared her throat, “Are you sure Lea is going with me? What about Rey?”
Kenan nodded slowly, “Yes, dear. Your mother and I want your brother to be responsible, and we want to see his seriousness.”
“Does Cecilia know why she’s being sent?”
“No, your Uncle Max only said that Lea has to open a branch there, and you’ll accompany her. So, I’m asking for your help, hmm?” Kenan asked gently.
“Alright, if that’s what you want, Dad,” Cecilia said, glancing at her watch. “He must have gone home by now. It’s unlikely he waited because I’ve been here too long,” she thought.
“What’s wrong, Cil?” Kenan asked, noticing his daughter’s uneasiness. Having raised Cecilia since she was two, Kenan knew his beloved daughter very well.
He loved Cecilia as his own daughter. In fact, he felt closer to her than anyone else.
