Chapter 34. Charles Orders

ERVIN’S POV

The journey to the pack borders was a long one. I stopped at certain points to ensure that all pack members were in the safety of their homes.

When I arrived, I was expecting a hideous sight but surprisingly, our warriors seemed to have handled it well.

The enemies were completely outnumbered. A two-to-one-man ratio.

“Now tie them up.” I heard Charles order. I was surprised to see him.

“When did you get here?” I asked coming up beside him.

“I’m the alpha, Ervin. I can sense my people in danger and fear.” Charles said with a shrug.

The men and women that invaded from the opposition pack were tied with strong ropes soaked in wolf’s bane.

They hissed, screaming in anguish as the ropes dug into their skin, burning through their skin.

Wolf’s bane was our weakness. The right amount administered into our body makes us as weak as humans. No supernatural abilities.
