Chapter 38. Imagination
ERVIN’S POV
“Hey. Good morning.” I mouthed as I silently entered into her room.
It was four o’clock in the morning when I came up to see Stella. The sun was not yet up. Just the moon. It was bright and looked almost full.
The knock had woken Stella up but not Charles who was sleeping in the room directly beside hers. I could still hear him snoring as he slept.
“Why are you disturbing my pretty sleep.” She whined as she shut the door behind me.
“It was of great urgency,” I said as I took the seat that was close to her bed.
“Spill.” She said yawning. She snapped her finger and the candle that prevents eavesdropping lighted up. She sat on her bed watching me. “For you to be here in my room and not his, at this odd hour, it must be secrecy.” She said referring to why she lighted up the candle.
I smiled. “Do you remember when we were kids, Mum would tell us stories of dark magic in the garden?”
