Chapter 17

Over the next couple of days, pictures from their hike flooded the internet and Edmond could only wonder when Laura took all the pictures which she posted on her Instagram. Some of them were pictures of her, some candid pictures of them, some pictures of the mountain and the surrounding scenery, while some were selfies.

As they sat in their usual café waiting for their orders, Edmond stared at the pictures with awe. He had noticed her with her phone during the hike but didn't pay enough attention to notice her taking pictures. It was actually a good idea that nobody else thought of as it would help them keep the memory.

There was one picture, however, that caught his attention as he scrolled through the plethora of pictures. It was a selfie of Laura, but in the background, was him carrying Imani on his back.

"These pictures are really good!" George commented from beside him. Laura beamed. Edmond grunted.

"What, don't you like them?"
