Chapter 10
Eros felt a hand cover his, and he paused instantly. He couldn’t remember the last time he felt the touch of someone other than his mother.
Eros turned slowly to see Aria standing in front of him with a shy smile. Had she remembered seeing him the past morning?
“Can I help you with something else?”
“No, no.” Aria laughed. “I’ve seen my friends.” She replied, pointing behind her.
Eros followed her hand and saw the two ladies waving at him. What the hell had she told them?
“I just wanted to thank you for helping me out earlier. I should’ve said it before walking away, and I’m just realizing how rude it was of me.” Aria explained.
“You’re welcome. I couldn’t just stand by and watch him harass you. You deserve better than that.” Eros replied.
“So what’s your name? I’m not sure I got it earlier.”
