As soon as Asher dismissed her from his office, she ran towards the bathroom and made her way into one of the stalls.
Crying in front of everyone wasn’t an ideal thing to do; she would never hear the end of it, but here, she had the luxury of privacy.
This was one of those days where she hated her job, but there wasn’t really much that she could do about it because it was just like Asher had taunted her with: she had a family to take care of.
