“A little birdie of mine brought good news to my ears, and I came here to ascertain its credibility.”
“What good news do you speak of?”
“That the most eligible bachelor in New York eventually found a wife,” She smirked, walking closer to where Aria remained, not moving. “I came to see her for myself, so tell me, where’s she?” She asked, her attention fixed on Aria.
“You have a spy in my establishments? I’ll deal with whoever it is later on.” Asher began, a boring look plastered on his face. “And do tell me how you found me and how any part of my personal life concerns you. I do not appreciate intrusion, and you know this.”
“I found you how I’ve always found you, my love. Do you underestimate my powers? I am not a mage in name only; I have powers to do my will. Besides, I am here to make sure everyone knows the truth.”
