“We need to get you ready for your weird but exciting date with your boss, Aria,” Jasmine announced as she pulled Aria to her feet, dragging her toward her room.

“You don’t need to,” Aria whined. “I can get myself ready, I promise.”

“The last thing I’d do is trust you in moments like this, so shut the hell up and follow me,” Jasmine replied sternly, shutting Aria up instantly.

She knew better than to argue with Jasmine whenever she was in this mood. All she could do was cross her fingers and hope that Eros wasn’t leading her to the firing squad.

Two hours later. Aria stood in the lobby, petrified and unable to move her feet. She was absolutely in love with her dress, and her girls had gushed over how she would turn heads at the party tonight, and they weren’t wrong. She’d gotten a couple of compliments and stares since she walked in clutching Eros’ arm like it was her lifeline, and to be honest, it was. She wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for him.
