Chapter 60

Aria found Asher after a couple of minutes of trying to find him. She had tried to call him, but he wasn’t answering his phone, and she couldn’t blame him; she could barely talk over the loud music.

“Mr. Asher,” Aria said as she came into his line of view.

Asher’s face instantly changed as he saw Aria. He didn’t think she was going to come, but here she was; he didn’t know what he wanted to do with her yet, but there wasn’t any rush, and he wasn’t in a hurry, and neither was she.

It was just the way he wanted it to be.

“I’ve been waiting for you, Aria.” Asher began as he took her hand and brought it to his lips.

“I’ve been around for a while now, but you’re a hard man to find, Mr. Asher,” Aria replied.

“Asher’s just fine whenever we’re out of the office and in a formal setting.”

“Okay,” Aria replied. She had never gotten this far with Asher on a personal level, and she didn’t know what she was supposed to say, and she didn’t want to mess up
