“You’re not?” She mumbled, staring at him dumbly.
“I’m not,” he nodded.
Cassandra laughed at the uncomfortable look on his face, shook her head but sat down on the chair anyways. “You don’t have to lie, though. I know my... loudness bothers you.”

“No, it doesn’t,” he lied through his teeth, placing the picnic basket between them. “I find it... ah, refreshing,”
“Liar,” she accused, narrowing her eyes into slits. “You just placed a picnic basket between us. I know when a man wants distance, Andino.”
“Keith,” he cautioned. “And no, I placed the basket there so we could both reach the food.”
