HEPHAESTUS' POV
After leaving the family, I looked at the list Natasha sent and noticed I did not get some things and I didn’t know if they were important or not so I forced myself to drive back to the mall.
With an unreadable expression, I entered the local mall again. My gaze swept across the bustling corridors, taking in the varied storefronts and kiosks, I might have to get used to this. I navigated through the sliding glass doors of the supermarket, my eyes adjusting to the fluorescent lighting within.
I wandered the aisles, movements deliberate and calculated. I paused before the produce stand, my gaze fixed on the pyramids of fruits and vegetables. With precision, I selected a few choice items that were on the list , plump tomatoes, crisp peppers, and juicy apples. My fingers, strong and dexterous, handled the produce with care, as if assessing their worthiness.
