Hephaestus POV

I was touched by her heartfelt confession. Her bright blue eyes showed all sincerity. I could hear her heartbeat and mine did a good job pounding like a damned hammer on a blade.

Women had brought me great trouble but the same woman had brought me my greatest joy.

After Hera. Not after Aphrodite or Athena. I thought I could find happiness in women.

Never! In my world would I have ever thought this could happen.

The joy I sought for in Olympus has been bestowed to me on earth. In the most beautiful human I've ever known.

"Natty," Someone called. As Nat stood instantly.

Who is she? She'd better be here for something good.

"What's wrong?" Nat asked. She looked more worried than she was before I came.

I sensed her gloomy face at first sight. She had tried her best to cover up but I could tell she wasn't happy.

"It's your grandma,"

"What's it a
