Hephaestus POV

The shocker Nat left on her face was indescribable. Nat and I walked out of the hospital. She heaved a sigh and faced me.

"How was that?" She asked. Her smile made me chuckle.

"Pretty clean," I answered. She nodded when I said that.

"She must still be in shock now," She said walking over to the truck. I joined her and we drove out of the hospital.

"She must have thought she was the only one good with words. Since her father is of high position she thinks she can talk down on me, really?" She scoffed. " Who does she think she is?"

She's back! The garrulous and confident Nat.

I chuckled and she faced me. " Why did you chuckle?"

"Nothing," I answered.

"Your expression doesn't look like it,"

"You're right. I'm just happy to have you," I said and she blushed cutely.

"Hmm," she cleared her t
