Chapter 59

Natasha's POV

The people wouldn't stop screaming even when the doctors had cautioned them. They wouldn't stop trying to reach him either. The hospital representatives welcomed the mayor honorably.

"Why is he here?" I muttered, watching him as he was led in.

He was taken to the center where everyone could see him from afar. He stood with the medical director of the hospital. The other doctors stood by the director's side, while the mayor's guards stood by his side too.

"You can all have your seat," The director announced.

Few patients who weren't in their wards and guardians who came to check on their family were present. They all took their seats as instructed. Those who couldn't get a seat stood.

"I'm so glad you called her here," The director said after the people sat. "Our mayor is here to address everyone,he has been a source of support to this hospital since his tenure
