Chapter 65
Hephaestus POV
I had never known staring at someone's happy face could have made me that elated. She grinned as she kept asking me to leave first.
She wouldn't give up.
"You leave first. I'm already at my house, nothing can happen here," She said again. The truth was I didn't want to leave neither did I want her too but I needed to.
Nana must be waiting.
I glanced at her once more, she was really determined to watch me leave.
"Goodnight," She waved as I walked to my car. I did the same before getting on.
Her bright smiling face played in my head as I drove back to my home. I couldn't stop smiling either.
Damn you! Heph!
I was just a few meters away from the ranch when I suddenly felt a stabbing sensation, like I had been stabbed by a knife in my heart. I touched my chest trying to endure the pain.
I held the wheel with my other hand and parked at a spot trying to catch my breath.
