Hephaestus POV

It wasn't even a day yet.

But I missed her like hell. I missed her all night and I had questioned my thoughts. Is it even worth missing her that much?

I doubted that. I was the bad one. She had never hidden anything from me. She told me everything she had on her mind. Everything she went through without hiding anything.

But I wasn't. I had hid the greatest secret of mine from her.

She had asked me but I had told her to wait. I knew she noticed I was hiding something but I kept mute. Even when she was very much ready to listen. I was blinded by my own thoughts and I failed to see hers. If I had told her earlier maybe she wouldn't have found out that way.

Guilt!

That was what ran through my mind as I had watched her leave the mansion. I had wanted to rush to her and beg her not to leave. I had watched them wait outside.

I was about to run to beg when she finally left with them. Aside from the thought of runn
