Chapter 45
“She’s leaving,” Thanatos informed Keith.
The god of sleep paused, eating his microwaved pizza, his eyes fixed on the door of the kitchen.
“She is?”
Thanatos sighed, somewhere in the shadows. “Shouldn’t you go after her? She just left her room.”
Keith glared at a corner he thought Thanatos was, his body antsy and wishing for a fight. “Why in Hades should I do that?”
“Because she has insomnia?” Thanatos muttered. “And wrong corner idiot, I’m right behind you.”
Keith whipped around. His brow arched when he saw his brother stand behind him physically.
Well, somewhat physically.
Thanatos’ upper half was quite visible. He had a dark mane that complimented his teak wood-colored skin. His eyes, golden and subtle, glared holes into his brother. He had a deep-as-night tunic hanging off one muscular shoulder, while the rest of his torso downward was covered in shadow.
“You look well,” Keith grumbled.
