Chapter 51
She slept like a baby.
Eight hours were completed, and though the room was dark when she woke, she wasn’t scared at all. There was something suddenly sensual about the darkness all around her.
Maybe it was because of the man beside her?
Cassandra stirred, stretching her limbs as far as she could with Keith’s hands around her, hearing them pop and grinning in satisfaction. Ooh, that felt good. So damned good.
“What are you, A cat?” She heard Keith say, his chest rumbling behind her back. At first, she had feared he wanted to kick her out, like always, like every fucking time.
But then his hands reached for her shoulders and turned her to face him. His eyes were filled with mirth. She watched him chuckle as he stared down at her.
“Hello, Cassandra,” he whispered.
“Hello, Keith.”
