Chapter 120. Training Again

Throughout the afternoon, the sound of metal clashing in Speed's workshop was like a symphony, constantly repeating itself. Sweat dripped from Red's body as she hammered away, thinning her trident into a sai. The work proved to be much more challenging than she had expected.

Red took a deep breath and let it out. She had been hammering for hours, taking only occasional breaks.

If only Ursula could take her place, Red would be grateful. But Ursula would probably bring down Speed's entire workshop if she tried to help, and the robot had already returned to Kit's workshop.

"Speed, take a look at this. Is it good enough yet?" Red asked.

Speed took the tongs and grabbed Red's weapon, then plunged it into a bucket of water. A sharp hissing sound and a cloud of steam immediately surrounded them.

"It looks good. I think it'll be the perfect sai for you in two days," Speed said.

"It took a lot of work," Red half complained, "but it's worth it."
