After the training, Aelea had been a bit cold towards Red, which made Red feel uncomfortable. When they returned to the cabin, Fiona said Aelea hadn't returned with them. Instead, she went to the workshop, walking alongside Anneth.
Even though it was almost midnight, Aelea still hadn't returned to the cabin.
"Should I go look for Aelea?" Red muttered.
"She's a grown-up now, Red. Nothing will happen to her," Fiona sighed. "You'd better get some rest."
"This is After Domini, Fiona. We're not on Earth."
"I'm sure she's with Kit. Isn't Ingo there, too?"
Red nodded weakly.
