Chapter 136. The Moon's Last Hope

Red, Aamon, Kit, Iram, and Kyra gathered in a circle around the campfire. They decided to continue their journey in the morning, even though they still didn't know how to go. The people around them looked restless as well.

Three days was a short time.

If they missed the transport ship, the only thing waiting for them on the planet Io-227 would be certain death. There was air, but food? No one knew. It was a barren planet; no one could survive for long.

"Shall we vote? Who wants to go north or west?" Kyra asked, looking at her friends one by one.

But no one answered.

"Or we could divide the group," Kit sighed quietly. "Some go west, some go north."

"And risk half the group dying if they choose the wrong direction?" Aamon shook his head quickly. "No, I don't agree."
