Chapter 176. Fantasy Comes True

Red returned home to find Aamon waiting for him. Without much of a conversation, Sethi had abruptly left without even saying goodbye. Seeing Red return unharmed, Aamon immediately hugged his lover tightly.

"I'm worried," Aamon whispered.

"Aamon, you need to calm your fears," Red smiled. "I'll be fine, especially with Sethi or another metaphysic."

"But Sethi..."

Red cut him off. "You don't know Sethi the way I do. She's actually more honest than most humans. You must see things from her perspective and understand her character."

"Okay," Aamon nodded. "Don't get upset... I'm afraid if you start frowning like that."

They both chuckled quietly and then went into the house. Red sat on the edge of the bed and watched as Aamon fetched a glass and filled it with water. Aamon had never slept in his house since they started living in the 30th century.
