Chapter 57. The Dragon

Red left the tower just as Aamon and the assassins were about to enter. The people who couldn't get in looked miserable. They were sick and scared, and death seemed imminent. Seeing this reality made Red really angry with Viz.

"Hey, Sleeping Beauty, where are you going?" shouted Anneth.

The other Assassins turned their heads in displeasure as Anneth became familiar with Red, except for Aamon, who walked right into Red's lap without a glance or a word. It was as if they had never spoken. The assassins rushed in after Aamon, Anneth standing before Red.

"I must evacuate the people to a safer place. They'll be exposed by the dragon," Red replied.

"How many people are in the tower?" asked Anneth.

Red shook her head; she didn't know how many people got the serum and passed the first round. There needed more information, or maybe the girl missed it. Phi and Flame appeared from inside the tower, both trotting over to Red.
