Cassie Edwards’s POV

“Good morning, students. We have a new student joining us today.” The new student walked in and my eyes widened. No way! It’s Jake Evans, but why is he here? We have 3 months left for school.

“Hello, everyone, I’m Jake Evans.” He moved to London about 5 years ago and now he’s back? We rarely talked to each other, but our families are close.

“Okay, Jake. You can sit behind Cassie. Cassie, please raise your hand.” I raised my hand and when he saw me, his face lit up and quickly walked to his seat.

“What the?!” he said and I turned to him.

“Long time no see!” I said and he hugged me. We’ve always been close when he was here.

“How are you? Still with the… wig?” he whispered and I nodded.

“Sit down!” I hissed and he chuckled. He sat down and smiled widely.
