"Eight-Legs!!" the Deformity shouted.

Ants surrounded Elijah and the other Deformity. The Deformities rushed into a circular formation. Drew immediately shot lightning from his palm, followed by fire and more lightning from their team.

Elijah realized immediately. There were no wind, water, or earthbenders, just two deformities with telekinetic powers. That was the helicopter carrying the Core. If the Core didn't make it in time to the Army Deformity camp east of Tacoma, which was under attack, the troops there might not survive.

"We're trapped!" cried one of the Deformities.

Phebe exclaimed with emotion. "FOCUS!"

The girl fired lightning bolts at every ant she could see. But the ants seemed endless. There was no Deformity Support to help, so the ants just kept coming with no barrier.

"We can't possibly finish them off, Drew! We have to find a way out," Phebe said.
