Chapter 35. Morning in Milton
Isaac waited uneasily on the terrace of the barracks, pacing and checking the sky, which was beginning to become brighter. There was no news that Isaac had received, not even from Dominic. The gate hadn't opened yet, so Isaac couldn't leave the barracks.
There was something that made Isaac need to find Elijah right away, and it was about Map. Isaac firmly believes that Dominic's daughter, Alita, is the little girl they found at the Academy. Now the child is in the hands of the rebels.
Of course, Isaac did not share his suspicions with Dominic. There's no telling what kind of chaos would ensue if Dominic knew his daughter was being held hostage by the separatist group, Isaac thought.
Dominic said the gate opens automatically at seven in the morning and locks at seven in the evening. Isaac waited impatiently for those seconds, until finally there was an alarm with a low horn signal. And the sound of 'clang', followed by the gate wheel moving automatically
