Chapter 34. The Rest Team Head to Milton
One of Drew's hands was wrapped around his waist while the other was resting on his forehead where his eyes watched the lights fall from the sky towards the earth. Rick, standing next to Drew, shook his head slowly, a small sigh coming from him.
"It's the Enemy," Rick said.
"Are you serious?" Phebe stared at Rick wide-eyed, looking increasingly worried.
Rick just shrugged. "I just hope my intuition is wrong."
Meanwhile, Elijah was silent, not showing any expression. In his heart, however, a feeling of unease spread that he himself could not help but feel. There was something disturbing in his mind, and it came from the meteor shower that had suddenly arrived.
The enemy was coming. They were probably stronger.
Elijah didn't know what to do, and the enemy they were facing now was truly a mismatched opponent. He needed to gather his strength, devour as much of the enemy's power as possible, and then maybe the humans could catch up.
